Velnir is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to support the company’s strategic expansion and long-term growth initiatives. This is a high-impact role working directly with the Founder & CEO, with hands-on exposure to acquisitions, financial strategy, and potential capital-raising efforts.

Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Expansion & Acquisitions
- Research and identify potential acquisition and expansion opportunities, with a focus on Mumbai and Pune - Perform initial financial analysis and screening of potential targets - Build and maintain basic to intermediate financial models, including: Revenue and cost projections, EBITDA analysis, Scenario and sensitivity analysis. - Prepare investment summaries, opportunity notes, and internal evaluation memos - Support due diligence by organizing data, analyzing financial information, and tracking key findings - Maintain and update acquisition pipelines, trackers, and dashboards - Independently gather market, industry, and company-level intelligence to support deal decisions
2. Capital & Strategic Initiatives
- Support capital-raising and strategic planning initiatives through financial analysis and research - Build and update financial models and operating scenarios under guidance - Assist in developing valuation frameworks and comparable company analyses - Create and refine investor-ready pitch decks, strategic presentations, and internal reports - Translate numbers into clear, structured business insights and narratives for leadership discussions
3. Stakeholder & Leadership Support
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors (legal, finance, consultants) on data and analysis requirements - Prepare professional, client-ready and investor-ready materials - Support leadership with data-driven insights for strategic decision-making - Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver outputs with minimal supervision
Requirements
– 1 year of experience in: Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Strategy / Management Consulting, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance or similar analytical roles. - Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities - High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail - Comfortable working in a founder-led, high-ownership, fast-paced environment - Strong interest in M&A, strategic growth, and long-term value creation
